2025 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the European Union. On July 25, the China-EU Young Scientists Exchange Program was officially launched in Beijing. The program aims to build a bridge of trust, cooperation, and friendship between young researchers from both sides.

Four young scientists from China, Spain, and Germany shared their experiences in international research cooperation. They spoke about their personal journeys and joint projects. All expressed a strong willingness to join the exchange program and work together on global challenges such as climate change and public health.

The official website of the program also went live during the launch event. A forum followed, where young scientists from China and Europe discussed topics in physics, chemistry, life sciences, information science, and management. They shared ideas, cooperation experiences, and suggestions for future collaboration.

In addition, led by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, the program invites young scientists from Europe to visit China. It supports exchanges with Chinese universities, research institutes, and tech companies.
