Air Taxi, Human Robot, VR Game… What’s NEWs at CIIE?

Check out some interesting new products and new technologies on the 7th CIIE.

The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened on Nov. 5 in Shanghai. More than 400 new products, new technologies and new services are unveiled during the expo. From humanoid robots showcasing intricate performances to revolutionary self-shielded radiation therapy devices, the event served as a testament to the remarkable advancements in the field of artificial intelligence.

Vertaxi, a Chinese eVTOL startup, joining hands with its partner, the United States-based Ampaire, has bought three autonomous eVTOL drones to the expo.

Among them, the M1 eVTOL, independently developed by Vertaxi, is the largest exhibit on the expo. Hailed as the future “air taxi”, the eVTOL aircraft is characterized by low-carbon, environmentally friendly, low-noise, and high-safety features.

In addition, French tire maker Michelin, an “old friend” of the CIIE, has exhibited a futuristic prototype wheel for lunar exploration vehicles, among other products including car tires containing 71 percent sustainable materials and a new generation of aircraft tire.

Making its Asian debut at the CIIE, this lunar rover tire can cope with the moon’s extreme temperatures, from 100 ℃ to -240 ℃. In the future, it could help create permanent human settlements on the Moon and Mars.

From rising startups to industry giants, they all take the CIIE as a global platform for product debuts, cutting-edge technology launches, and innovative service introductions.
