An Evening with Eliza Chan and Sunyi Dean

Head to Waterstones for an evening of ancient myths and legends as we welcome authors Eliza Chan and Sunyi Dean to celebrate their latest books Harbour of Hungry Ghosts and The Girl with a Thousand Faces. Both set in historical Hong Kong, these stories explore hungry spirits, unfamiliar monsters, and the brave young women hunting them.

The Garden Cinema Hong Kong Film Season

The Garden Cinema’s Hong Kong season continues until August 27th. It will focus on the Golden Age of Hong Kong cinema from the mid-1980s to the handover year of 1997. The season runs across eight weeks with two guest directors, a series of academic introductions, and a public panel discussion.

The Fourth London International Chinese Music Festival

The Fourth London International Chinese Music Festival is coming to London. The Original Chinatown: Myths and Realities

This exhibition explores the intriguing world of London’s first Chinatown, which was originally located in Limehouse. It is organised by Care for St Anne’s. a charity dedicated to looking after St Anne’s church in Limehouse where this exhibition is held.
