China’s leading down jackets brand Bosideng, launched its innovative Autumn 2024 collection in Europe at its flagship store during London Fashion Week on September 14.
As Chinese fashion designers make their mark internationally, the country’s major fashion brands – led by Bosideng – are also now poised for global impact.
Bosideng considers London an important international showcase for its most innovative designs. The company, which was founded in 1976 and is a household name in China, first showed on the catwalk at London Fashion Week in February 2020 and has also participated in New York and Milan Fashion Weeks.
This season’s event was a detailed in-store presentation for fashion press, influencers and VIP customers that included first sight of the brand’s new light down Dibian collection, including award-winning ultra-versatile new pieces.
Winner of an ISPO Award in 2024, the new Dibian Detach 3-in-1 Goose Down Jacket comprises two separate garments including a vest and a protective functional outer shell with a Gore-Tex Windstopper fabric. The vest separates into front and back sections with magnetic closures, enabling it to be removed easily without having to take off an outer jacket. An integrated pocket allows it to be clipped to belt loops.
Another ISPO award winner is the Dibian Easy Pack 3-in-1 Down Jacket, specifically developed for women cyclists with a windproof and showerproof outer jacket (made from a bio-based proprietary Bosideng fabric) and a warm goose down jacket beneath, the down certified with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). The outer jacket can be transformed into a shoulder bag, while the down layer can be folded and attached to a bicycle’s handlebars.
