Harrods Celebrate Year of the Horse with Designer Pop-Up

Harrods rings in the Year of the Horse with designer pop-ups, festival feasts and limited-edition collectables from January to March.

Harrods has unveiled a full Spring Festival programme to mark the Year of the Horse under the theme “For Every Journey, Harrods Rides With You.” Running from early January through March, the Knightsbridge store will host a mix of designer collaborations, limited-edition dining, workshops and seasonal gifting, alongside a new cinematic campaign inspired by reunion and renewal.

Alongside the in-store programme, Harrods has launched a cinematic campaign built around the journey home, a defining theme of the Spring Festival. It features Chinese entrepreneur, philanthropist and fashion figure, Laurinda Ho, whose experience of studying and living in the UK underscores ideas of reunion, renewal and connection, expressed through seasonal collections and exclusive Year of the Horse gifting.

With food central to Chinese New Year celebrations, The Georgian is serving a limited-edition Spring Festival Afternoon Tea from 5th January to 3rd March. The menu blends British tradition with Asian flavours, including shiso-wrapped crispy duck with hoisin, black sesame and raspberry patisserie, and a citrus-infused preserve created especially for the season.

From 2nd–17th February, Harrods partners with Shanghai-based fashion platform LABELHOOD for a Spring Festival pop-up on their fifth floor. Now in its fourth year at Harrods, the collaboration aligns with LABELHOOD’s global “Together We Ride” campaign and showcases contemporary Chinese designers including Samuel Gui Yang, Bing Xu, Tangxindan, Ao Yes, Yayi, and Yirantian. The space also combines retail with interactive elements such as a family photo booth and embroidered sachet workshops, positioning the pop-up as both a showcase for emerging Chinese talent and a cultural touchpoint during the festival period.

To round out the celebrations, Harrods is offering a curated selection of Spring Festival gifts available in-store and online, ranging from timepieces and silk scarves to sought-after beauty favourites, all complemented by exclusive Year of the Horse gift wrapping. The 2026 Spring Festival Hamper brings together Food Halls delicacies, including artisan jasmine green tea and a commemorative gold bar symbolising prosperity for the year ahead. Completing the line-up is the 2026 Annual Carriage Driver Bear, released to mark the Year of the Horse. Dressed in traditional livery with a bowler hat and cravat, the collectable nods to Harrods’ historic Coach & Horse team, echoing the season’s themes of journey, companionship and shared celebration as a new Chinese year begins.
