Beautiful Hebei Welcomes Everyone to Spend Weekends

The slogan “So Close, So Beautiful, Spend Your Weekends in Hebei”, or saying “Spend Your Weekends in Beautiful Hebei” is very popular around China now.

The inaugural “Starlight Yanzhao” sightseeing train, the first of its kind in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, departed Beijing Railway Station on July 9 at 8:35 am, carrying over 200 passengers to Chengde in neighboring Hebei province.

 A New Tourism Model

The train promotes regional tourism integration. It carries the slogan: “So Close, So Beautiful, Spend Your Weekends in Hebei”.

Designed as a “mobile scenic living room”, the seven-carriage train offers a 208-passenger capacity, featuring five sightseeing cars (one of which is panoramic), one themed dining car, and one multi-functional entertainment car.

Key innovations include large panoramic windows, themed exterior designs reflecting regional landscapes and culture, upgraded interiors with traditional Chinese arts, and accessible facilities for elderly passengers.

Passengers can enjoy shadow puppetry, sugar painting, performances, and regional cuisine.

Officials said this launch represents a concrete effort to enhance regional cooperation. It also creates a new tourism model within the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei.

Worth to Visit and Explore

Near Beijing and Tianjin, Hebei province in North China, is a place with long history, multiple cultures and fine sceneries that may often ignored by tourists.

Many places are worth to visit and explore.
