The 2026 World Future Technology Development Summit is coming to London on June 11th at IET London: Savoy Place.
As global technological power undergoes accelerating restructuring — from AI to green energy, robotics to smart wearables — the world is going through unparalleled technological shifts. Against this backdrop, the annual summit that brings together top global tech forces and focuses on tech going global and ecosystem co-building, with the summit titled Together we build the global technology ecosystem. It is held as an official side event of London Tech Week.
It will be held on June 11 at IET London: Savoy Place — a Royal Engineering Venue on the banks of the River Thames in London.
The 2026 World Future Technology Development Summit will deeply integrates China-Europe resources across government, industry, academia, research, and investment, focusing on robotics while also covering medical devices, energy, smart wearables, AI, and related fields.
It is structured through five interlocking components: summit forums to build consensus, project roadshow to connect capital and innovation, resource matchmaking to bridge supply and demand, exhibition display to present real-world value, and gala dinner to deepen cross-border cooperation. These will be complemented by the release of the AI Trustworthy Corpus Data Construction White Paper, WFT Think Tank launch, and a technology enterprise awards ceremony. Together, these segments provide systematic support for Chinese enterprises to enter European markets, while simultaneously accelerating the rooting of European leading technologies in China — ultimately building a truly two-way, sustainable China-Europe tech going-global ecosystem.
Core leaders from government, business, and academia will gather to jointly outline the future of two-way China-Europe tech empowerment. Government and political figures will include members from the House of Lords, heads of international organisations, and ambassadors. From the world of business, Core decision-makers from global leading enterprises and investment institutions, including the 48 Group Club, Nobel Sustainability Trust, and CBRE will be present. Finally, multiple academics will be present, including fellows of the Academia Europaea and Academy of Social Sciences (UK), academics from Oxford and Imperial College London, along with representatives from China’s National Advertising Research Institute.
There will also be opportunities to see cutting-edge Chinese technology, as a group of pioneering Chinese technology companies will showcase their core product portfolios for the European market, covering lifestyle services, intelligent manufacturing, and advanced space technologies.
The summit is co-hosted by the World Federation for Future Technology Development (WFT) and the 48 Group Club, organised by the International Youth Innovation Summit (YSS) , and supported by domestic and international authoritative institutions including London & Partners and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
