Touch AI, Live Smarter: CICPE Showcases How AI & Robots Transform Daily Lives

From smart wearables to home devices and office tools, AI-driven products, showcased at CICPE, are transforming people’s daily lives.

The 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) is being held in Haikou, Hainan Province, from April 13th to 18th. A large number of exhibitors have brought cutting-edge tech products, bringing to life a variety of new “technology + consumption” scenarios.

People Are “Wearing” AI

Digital and smart consumption is one of the themes of CICPE this year, with smart wearables in particular taking centre stage. A seemingly ordinary pair of glasses, a slim smart ring, people are “wearing” AI on themselves.

Beijing Walker Technology Co., Ltd. launched XR glasses at CICPE. The XR glasses can use intelligent processing to convert ordinary images and videos into 3D immersive visuals in real time. Its matching neckband device can also recognise the current screen during gameplay and provide operation suggestions.

“These smart glasses can not only talk to users, schedule itineraries and provide real-time navigation, but also translate more than 80 languages,” a staff member at the booth explained. “It’s very practical. I travel frequently between China and Canada, and it’s like having a smart assistant with me,” A visitor said after trying.

The International Data Corporation (IDC) predicts that China’s smart glasses shipments will exceed 4.915 million units in 2026. Chinese manufacturers will account for 45% of the global market.

Another wearable, the smart ring, features ECG monitoring, mood recognition, sleep tracking and other functions. The lightest model weighs just 2 grams and offers up to 10 days of battery life. “Our main target consumers are those over 35, who have higher demands for health management and prefer unnoticeable wearables,” a booth staff member said.

AI Improves Life Quality

Beyond wearables, smart health and elderly care devices have also attracted attention.

At the Fubao Robot booth, the smart health companion robot is equipped with a large AI model. The robot is a desktop assistant about 40 centimetres tall and weighing 3.5 kilograms. It supports health management, medication reminders, emergency alerts and connections to online hospitals.

In another brand’s booth, visitors were testing a smart massage chair. The product uses contactless AI stress monitoring technology. In just a few dozen seconds of facial recognition, it collects key data such as heart rate, breathing rate and stress index. Then it automatically selects the most suitable massage program.

Smart homes have also made pet care more convenient and trendy. A smart pet den can identify multiple pets, record their activity, and generate personalised activity data.

AI as a New Tool for the Office

Cutting-edge technology not only enriches home life but also boosts office efficiency.

At the iFLYTEK booth, AI voice recorders, AI translators, and AI notebooks are on full display.

“Compared with traditional voice recorders, AI voice recorders can detect tone to punctuate sentences, correct dialect accents, and generate meeting summaries automatically,” a staff member explained. AI voice recorders have become a go-to office tool for many teachers at training institutions.

In addition, the CICPE has also launched interactive experiences such as AI garment fitting, digital avatar customisation, and deep sleep cabins. From daily wear to health management, from home care to efficient office work, cutting-edge technology is permeating every aspect of daily life in China through diverse products.

Many industry insiders said that as large AI model technologies continue to advance, the intelligence of devices will keep improving. The trend of deep integration between AI and daily life has become clearer.
