A Cat-themed Park Everyone’s Talking About in Chongqing

Chongqing opens Firefly Harbour Cat‑themed Park, featuring hundreds of rescued cats, interactive visits, and adoption options.

Recently, Chongqing opened a cat-themed park, and it quickly became a favourite spot for locals and tourists. The park is home to hundreds of rescued stray cats. Visitors can meet the cats, play with them, and even help them “earn” treats through interactive activities.

Spanning approximately 30,000 square meters, the park primarily focuses on rescuing cats. It shelters those that were abandoned or injured and provides professional care and vaccinations before letting them interact with guests.

The park also combines public welfare with tourism. It offers an open adoption platform, allowing visitors to adopt cats responsibly. By balancing fun, care, and social responsibility, the Cat-themed Park attracts many visitors who come to explore, take photos, and spend time with the cats.
