Villagers of the Dong ethnic group sing in antiphonal styles inside an ethnic-featured drum tower at Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture, Southwest China's Guizhou province, Feb. 7, 2022. Antiphonal singing is a traditional custom for local people of the Dong ethnic group in Guizhou. It is commonly organized during the Lunar Chinese New Year and the slack season in farming. It became the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) intangible cultural heritage in 2009.
