Villagers dry vegetables in the sun in Jiangxi province
Villagers sun-dries red chilli in a village, Ji’an city, Jiangxi province, December 15, 2019. In "shaidong", a time-honored practice of the village in winter, farmers put agricultural produce such as corn and chili peppers in bamboo baskets to sun-dry them. The variety of colors on the ground adds to the pleasure of the cold season.
