Temporary hospital on Hong Kong's Lantau Island to open on Feb. 26

Photos taken on Feb.2, 2021 show the ward of the North Lantau Hospital Hong Kong Infection Control Center in south China's Hong Kong. The temporary hospital funded by the central government for treating COVID-19 patients in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) will open its doors on February 26. The North Lantau Hospital Hong Kong Infection Control Center, built next to another treatment facility at AsiaWorld-Expo, is capable of providing 136 wards and 816 negative pressure beds.
