Tianjun County has monitored an increasing population of wild animals in the area in recent years, as the local government has stepped up protection efforts.

Chinese experts have recently published the Atlas of Wildlife in Southwest China, according to the Kunming Institute of Zoology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

Over the past decade, China has stepped up efforts in promoting the harmonious coexistence of human and nature and has achieved remarkable results in preserving natural resources.
