Chinese Vice Premier Sun Chunlan on Monday called for adhering to the dynamic zero-COVID policy and taking more thorough measures to cut off all COVID-19 transmission chains in communities.

All 16 Shanghai districts have recorded zero COVID-19 community transmissions outside quarantine areas, said Zhao Dandan, deputy director of Shanghai Health Commission at a press conference Tuesday.

Shanghai released a 21-point document on Tuesday to assist businesses in the city and promote development while it fights its worst COVID-19 outbreak.

Pharmacists of the hospital are busy providing decoctions for COVID-19 prevention and control to individuals under medical quarantine and medical workers at the frontline. The hospital also offered the decoctions to local residents for free at the outpatient hall. 

Local authorities have strengthened the prevention and control measures to halt the spread of the coronavirus in the recent COVID-19 resurgence.
