Students train hard to pursue ballet dream at ballet school in NE China's Shenyang

Students attend a ballet class at a ballet school affiliated to Liaoning Ballet in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province, May 31, 2023. Founded in 1994, the ballet school affiliated to Liaoning Ballet is a major professional ballet training base in China.

The school recruits children aged 10 to 12 who are interested in ballet and have a certain level of proficiency in ballet from across the country. Nearly 1,000 children apply for the school every year, and about 70 of them are accepted. At present, there are more than 400 students studying in seven grades at the school.

The students here study and practice dancing for four to six hours every day and try their best to pursue their ballet dream.
