Guizhou grandma devoted to stacked embroidery

Yi Shouxian sketches the picture before embroidering in her living room in Zunyi, southwest China Guizhou Province, August 12, 2021. Stacked embroidery, or Duixiu in Chinese, is a traditional craftsmanship that creates artworks by embroidering on cloth. Yi has studied the skill for over 20 years. Some of her works were collected by local museums. Yi teaches at a local elder academy, hoping the craftsmanship could be inherited and developed.
