As of 12:00 on the 6th, Guangdong Province had reported a total of 970 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection. Hu Ying, the Vice President of the High People's Court of Guangdong Province, said that since the coronavirus outbreak, the Provincial Court has set up a special working group. Those confirmed or suspected cases who refuse treatment or isolation management, and intentionally spread the coronavirus to cause public harm, could face the death penalty in accordance with criminal law.
