Construction of another makeshift hospital underway in Shanghai

Construction workers work at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in east China's Shanghai, April 7, 2022. Shanghai's National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) will be converted to a makeshift hospital with a planned capacity of 40,000 beds. Upon completion, it will become the largest makeshift hospital to treat the COVID-19 patients in Shanghai.
