Colorful lakes in northwestern county
Photos show lakes in Madoi County, Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Northwest China’s Qinghai province. The county is home to the headwaters of the Yellow River, China’s second longest river. Efforts are underway to preserve biodiversity and the natural environment, increasing the number of lakes from 4,077 to 5,050.
