China's Long March-8 carrier rocket lifts 5 satellites in maiden flight
The Long March 8, the latest in China's Long March launch vehicle fleet, blasts off from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in South China's Hainan Province, Dec. 22, 2020. The new medium-lift carrier rocket made its maiden flight on Tuesday, sending five satellites into planned orbit, according to the China National Space Administration.
