China's 10th National Paralympics Games opens in Tianjin

The opening ceremony in north China's Tianjin municipality for the 10th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 7th National Special Olympics Games on August 25, 2019. The 35 delegations taking part represent China's provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions as well as the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. The grand sports gala will feature 33 events--25 for the Games for Persons with Disabilities and eight in the Special Olympic Games--with 6,121 athletes signed up to participate.
