China launches 47th, 48th BeiDou satellites into space

A Long March-3B carrier rocket blasts into space with the 47th and 48th satellites of BeiDou Navigation Satellite System at 05:10 a.m. from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, Sept. 23, 2019. The new satellites and the carrier rocket were developed by the China Academy of Space Technology and the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
