Beijing Nanyuan Airport to cease public operations soon

Beijing Nanyuan Airport, the oldest airport in China, will soon cease public operations. Civil aviation airlines will move to the new Daxing International Airport, which was put into operation on Wednesday. The Nanyuan Airport, opened in 1910, has long served as both a commercial and military airport. It was the main hub of China United Airlines since 1986 after serving the military for decades.
