400-km Gobi Desert challenge held in Qinghai

Scenes from the 400-km Gobi Desert challenge in Northwest China’s Qinghai Province, Aug. 11, 2019. Forty-seven participants joined the challenge that started at the Mars Camp in Lenghu Town and passed through the Yadan landform, a dry area with a landscape formed by wind erosion. The route has an average altitude of 3,400 meters, with the biggest challenges being the dry weather and lower oxygen levels.
