18 COVID-19 patients discharged from hospital on Chinese mainland

Eighteen patients of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were discharged from hospital after recovery on the Chinese mainland Tuesday, the National Health Commission said Wednesday.

Altogether 78,189 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital by the end of Tuesday, the commission said in its daily report.

As of Tuesday, 82,926 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported on the mainland, and 4,633 people had died of the disease.
