Excavation of No. 8 sacrificial pit at Sanxingdui Ruins almost completed

Archeologists work at the No. 8 sacrificial pit of Sanxingdui site in Guanghan, southwest China's Sichuan Province, Aug. 8, 2022. The archaeological excavation of No. 8 sacrificial pit has entered the final stage since it began in October 2020. As the biggest sacrificial pit of the six newly discovered pits (No. 3 to No. 8), No. 8 pit is the one with most unearthed cultural artifacts.
