CelebrAsia 2025 is a celebration of South East Asian food, culture and community. The festival features live performances, mouthwatering street food, cultural workshops, and an artisan market.
The three-day festival is free-to-enter, and will run from the 5th to 7th September 2025.
It takes place at Battersea Power Station, transforming the London landmark into a hub of South East Asian flavours and traditions,
CelebrASIA first launched in 2024. Following a successful inaugural event last year, Battersea Power Station and the High Commissions and Embassies of the 10 member countries of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) in London are once again working together at this year’s celebrASIA.
Sam Cotton, Interim CEO at Battersea Power Station Development Company, said: “We’re beyond delighted to bring back celebrASIA after hosting an extremely successful and busy inaugural festival last year.” He added they hope to create an event which gives our visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in and learn about the rich cultural heritage of the region.
A major new highlight for 2025 is the Riverside Feasting Table, an exclusive long-table dining experience curated by leading London chefs, offering a specially designed four-course grilled menu by some of London’s best South East Asian chefs including Abby Lee from Malaysian hot spot Mambow.
Twenty-nine restaurants and pop-ups will join the line-up, bringing street food, snacks and sweet treats from across South East Asia to Battersea Power Station.
Inside the iconic Power Station, visitors can explore a curated artisan market with over 30 independent makers and brands. Highlights include Baju by Oniatta, the sustainable Singaporean fashion label founded by festival ambassador Oniatta Effendi, and Yi craft from Yunnan, China, which will showcase distinctive Bai ethnic clothing and handcrafted designs.
At the Power Station Park main stage, audiences can enjoy a diverse line-up of live performances from different South East Asian countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesian, Filipino and Vietnam, celebrating the vibrancy of South East Asian culture.
CelebrASIA 2025 also brings an expanded cultural programme to life with hands-on arts and crafts workshops for all ages. Visitors can try everything from lantern making and batik painting to storytelling and shadow puppet creation. A highlight will be Royal Selangor’s renowned School of Hard Knocks, where master craftsmen from Malaysia will guide participants in personalising their own pewter dish.
For families, the Grand Tour Trail will offer children the chance to complete a CelebrASIA passport while learning about South East Asia, with explorer stickers and stamps awarded on completion. At Malaysia Square, the South East Asian Games will bring childhood games from across the region to life, offering playful activities.
