Changzhou’s Eco Revolution: Hydrogen Bikes, Electric Vehicles, and River Conservation

Changzhou city in Jiangsu province of China undergoes an eco revolution.

Australian blogger Cameron Andersen (An Long) visited Changzhou, Jiangsu in China for the second time. He explored Xinbei District’s innovations in clean energy and sustainability. There he experienced the hydrogen-powered bicycle, which requires just “a glass of water to ride,” and the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging facility that can fully charge a car with “a single cup of coffee.” Driving an EV, Cameron visited Lu’anzhou Terminal’s bulk cargo air dome, a facility dedicated to protecting the Yangtze River, and met the “fish dads” who care for local fish species along the riverbank.

Through unique perspectives, seamless camera work, and innovative storytelling, he captured the charm of Xinbei’s “new water town”. The harmony between people and nature fostered by new energy solutions, highlighting landmarks like the Changtai Bridge, Manbo Talent Apartments, and the Menghe Medical School. Watch the video above or on our youtube to learn all about the eco revolution in Changzhou.
