Unitree Robotics Opens Its First Physical Store in Beijing

Unitree Robotics opens its first offline store in Beijing, showcasing interactive robots for home, education, entertainment, and elder care applications.

On Dec. 31st 2025, Unitree Robotics opened its first offline store in Beijing. Visitors can see robots in action and explore how they assist in home life, education, entertainment, and elder care. The interactive demos let guests experience firsthand how robotics is becoming part of daily life.

Interest in humanoid robots is growing rapidly. A survey of 1,502 people by China Youth Daily’s Social Survey Centre and Wenjuan.com found that 90.7% follow developments in humanoid robotics. Many expect robots to help with household chores, support work and study, or act as a “family doctor.” Respondents also hope robots can manage home safety (50.3%), care for children and the elderly (48.5%), provide emotional companionship (32.6%), or serve as a personal fitness coach (21.3%).

At the same time, China’s major cities are accelerating robot development. Beijing plans to deploy tens of thousands of robots and build a billion-dollar industry cluster. Shanghai focuses on logistics, industrial manufacturing, and retail, collecting use cases and challenges. Shenzhen pushes innovation in embodied intelligence and AI terminals, aiming to upgrade its tech industry. These efforts create a strong environment for a homegrown company like Unitree Robotics to thrive.
