Hainan FTP’s Air Passenger Traffic Tops 50m for First Time

Following the successive arrivals of Hainan Airlines’ Bangkok-Haikou flight and China Southern Airlines’ Chengdu-Haikou flight on December 30th, the combined annual passenger throughput of Hainan Free Trade Port’s three major airports – Haikou Meilan International Airport (HAK), Sanya Phoenix International Airport (SYX), and Qionghai Boao International Airport (BAO) – topped the 50 million mark for the first time in 2025, setting a new record for annual passenger flow.
