Isha’s Song Lyrics English Translation: Arcane

Isha’s song from Arcane is sung in Mandarin Chinese by Hong Kong superstar Eason Chang, here is Isha’s Song Lyrics English Translation.

Editors Note: This article contains minor spoilers for the second season of Arcane.

Isha’s song is played as the screen fades to black after the final intense moments of Arcane: League of Legends Season 2 Episode 6. It seemed a fitting song for the moment, with its sad tone and lyrics, chosen as the name suggests for the mute character Isha. The majority of the audience for the hit English-language Netflix show won’t understand the Mandarin-language song, but they could certainly understand the meaning from the sombre tone of the song alone. Considering how popular League of Legends is in China, it’s unsurprising the series finally had a Chinese-language song.

Isha’s song was sung by Hong Kong singer and actor Eason Chang. He is one of the most influential figures in both cantopop and mandopop. Before singing Isha’s song, he also sang the theme song for the Chinese version of Arcane – Lonely Warrior.

The Chinese title 这样很好can be translated as ‘This is good’. Here is Isha’s Song Lyrics English Translation:

Isha’s Song Lyrics English Translation

Child, don’t be afraid of the thorns with your barefeet
You can find the essence of the world
You see, the sky is turning grey
How stunning the firework was
How stunning the firework was
We are all slaves of nature, blossom and withered
Yet, even stubborn rocks and barriers
Bloom with flowers

Push aside the mountains
Let her see me
Tell those stars
To shine on me faster
Blow away the dark clouds
With that blue in my heart
Even if the world is full of desolation
We can lift our hеads up and see the moon

When we arе still in the guise of children
As one among millions, still must blossom into a solitary and splendid flower
Don’t wander in troubles anymore
Don’t forget
Even if the tears flow, keep running forward
Run until even time cannot be found
Be a carefree flying bird

Push aside the mountains
Let her see me
Tell those stars
To shine on me faster
Blow away the dark clouds
With that blue in my heart
Even if the world is full of desolation
We can lift our heads up and see the moon

When we are still in the guise of children
As one among millions, still must blossom into a solitary and splendid flower
Don’t wander in troubles anymore
Don’t forget
Even if the tears flow, keep running forward
Run until even time cannot be found
Be a carefree flying bird

Stop searching
Give me a hug
Just quietly forget
I’m fine the way I am

The British Library expanded its Chinese collection on Thursday by adding ten online novels by Chinese authors, including Lord of the Mysteries, Soul Land, and The Joy of Life. This follows the library's 2022 inclusion of its first batch of Chinese online literature. These novels, originally published on platforms operated by Yuewen, a Chinese online literature company, were donated to document the cultural significance and rapid development of internet literature in China.
