The second High-End Property Forum occurred on October 1st 2024.
It began with a welcome speech by Liu Wei, CEO of Platinum Global Investment Group.
He emphasised that under the new Labour government’s push for economic recovery, “infrastructure development, green housing, and real estate prioritisation” have become key topics. Liu Wei also pointed out that the forum provided an excellent opportunity for various sectors to gain a deeper understanding of the UK property market and to seize future investment trends.
In an interview, the forum initiator Liu Wei explained his motivation for organising the event stemmed from the crucial role real estate plays in a nation’s economy. He believes that real estate is not only the “barometer” of the economy but also a pillar of it. He emphasised the need to closely monitor the UK government’s economic policies and new regulations, fully understand and analyse the state and trends of the UK property market, and strategically plan for the next investment opportunities.
With 30 years of real estate experience, many attendees referred to him as the “Master of Global Real Estate Investment.”
On China, Liu also expressed his commitment to continuing to promote interaction and cooperation between China and the world. He believes that “communication is the key to fostering understanding and cooperation between nations and cultures”.
Adam Price, CEO of Select Property Group, mentioned that today’s forum highlighted the enormous appeal of the UK real estate market, particularly for overseas investors from China.
